Curious about Utila Hotels?
There are many different Utila Hotels to choose from. You will find anything from a quality dive resort to a truly affordable backpacker’s hostel. Most of the dive shops have their own accommodations which are included in the price of their diving packages, so if you are visiting Utila to get “Scuba Certified” I recommend you first decide who you will be diving with and then figure out where you will be staying. The top resorts all offer diving to their guests.

A total of 6 rooms, each uniquely different will bring you into a world of fantasy, where you will feel truly special. There are only two words of warning about this property: They love their spiders, so you may see spider webs around the gardens; they also have one of the most popular bars on the weekends: The Treetanic Bar, so it can be a bit noisy over the weekends, but then of course, you can simply go out and join the crowd at the bar! www.jadeseahorse.org. The Nightland Cabins are certainly one of the most unique of all Utila Hotels.
One of the best established Utila hotels, the Mango Inn was the first hotel to have a swimming pool in Utila! It is part of the Utila Dive Centre dive operation on the island, and offers rooms that vary from dorm rooms to private rooms to some very nice cabins. Although it is not located on the water, it has a good central location that makes it easy to get around town. They also have a good full service restaurant and bar with great food.
Utila Lodge is the quintessential of Utila Hotels. It is on the water, offers s great deck overlooking the bay, a spacious lounge and restaurant that even has a pool table in it. With a total of only 8 rooms, each with a private balcony overlooking the Bay of Utila and offering your own perfect sunset view. The Utila Lodge offers a great central location, close to everything, and yet not in the middle of the area that has the noisier bars in town. They also have a full service PADI dive shop that operates under the name of Bay Islands College of Diving. You can’t go wrong with the Utila Lodge, it certainly one of the nicest places where to stay in Utila. www.utilalodge.com/

Margarita Bay Hotel
A charming family hotel located very close to Chepe’s beach, the local public beach in Utila. Nice rooms and cabins, plus a restaurant over the water that operates as a separate business: The Driftwood Café. Friendly service, the owner, Mrs. Chirinos is usually on premises and always willing to help out and give you local information. This is the favorite hand out for sportsfishermen from the mainland when they come to fish on the island. Certainly a great alternative within the selection of Utila hotels available.
Coral View Hotel
One of the more remote Utila Hotels, Coral View is on the road towards Blue Bayou. It’s location makes it one of the quieter spots in town if you do not want to be kept up all night with the sounds of party in Utila. Nice salt water pool and sundeck over the Caribbean Sea. Friendly service.
